Scully finished ahead of Jamie Gibson and Matt Smith in the supporter voting for the award for his contributions to Tigers’ 100 per cent winning record during the month.
The versatile winger and full-back is currently away on international duty with USA in their two-legged play-off with Uruguay, the winners of which will qualify for the Rugby World Cup in England in 2015.
Speaking from America’s training base in Uruguay ahead of the first leg, Scully, celebrated his 26th birthday at the end of February, said: “I am really surprised and honoured to win the award. I feel very humbled.
“First and foremost, thank you to my teammates and to the coaches who put me in a position to contribute to the club.
“Also, a huge thanks to the Tigers fans for their continued support which has been fantastic and made me feel so welcome.
“I hope to repay this honour by continuing to improve in every aspect and aspiring to perform at the highest level on and off the pitch.”
Scully follows previous winners Vereniki Goneva, Dan Bowden, Graham Kitchener, Tom Youngs and Owen Williams as a Goldsmiths Player of the Month.
The Tigers Player of the Month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
