Leicester Tigers centre Solomone Kata has received a three-match ban after being shown a red card in Saturday’s East Midlands derby.
The ban will be reduced to two matches if Kata makes an application to World Rugby to undertake the Coaching Intervention Programme (CIP).
Subject to the completion of the CIP, Kata will be available for selection for Round 17 of the Gallagher Premiership against Sale Sharks, Friday 10 May.
Kata will miss the following games:
27 April vs Bristol Bears
3 May vs Georgia Black Lion
10 May vs Sale Sharks (subject to completion of CIP)
