A fourth consecutive league title was already secure before Tigers became the first team to win back-to-back European Cup Finals. 

After triumphing with a late converted try in Paris in 2001, another tight final went Leicester’s way with a 15-9 win over Munster in front of 74,000 supporters in Cardiff for a place in European history, with Neil Back’s late intervention in defence grabbing almost as many headlines as the tries from Geordan Murphy and Austin Healey.
