Our £136 million campus transformation is creating the modern, inspiring environment our student community of 22,000 deserves, while ground-breaking programmes like #DMUlocal and #DMUglobal have helped ensure we were named in the in top three per cent of 18,000 global universities for 2015-16 and the top 1.4 per cent for our international impact.
We were also delighted to put in another strong performance in the 2016 Sunday Times Good University Guide league tables. After enjoying a meteoric rise last year - leaping 32 places from 86th to 54th to become the most improved university in Britain - Alastair McCall, editor of the guide, praised DMU for not only maintaining a strong position but rising a further place to 53rd this year.
De Montfort Students' Union (DSU) now offers more than 105 societies as well as 40 sports clubs to choose from - just one of the reasons we are ranked in the top 50 for student satisfaction in both The Times league tables and the student-led WhatUni? survey.
