1880 is a special year, not just for Leicester Tigers, but also for Westons Cider. It was the same time that Henry Westons first established his cider mill, in Much Marcle, Herefordshire. With over 135 years of cider making expertise, Westons Cider are the oldest leading independent cider makers in the UK.
Just like Leicester Tigers, the family business has values that reflect hard work, gritty determination and know how. Pride, Passion and Expertise have been at the heart of the business since 1880 and still stand true today.
Remaining close to traditional techniques lends itself to making premium, award-winning ciders of which Stowford Press is no exception. All the apples used to make Stowford Press and Stowford Press Mixed Berries are harvested from a 40-mile radius of the cider mill. We then blended the apples, ensuring the juice is matured for up to 18 months, to give the cider that special character.
Enjoy a Stowford Press and Stowford Press Mixed Berries, the Official Cider of Leicester Tigers Rugby, available today at all main bars within the stadium.
