Leicester Tigers welcomed Gabriel Oghre to the club on a short-term deal in November 22 after five years with Wasps.

The hooker played his junior rugby for Bath Rugby, where he captained the club’s Academy side, before joining Wasps ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

He made his senior debut during his first season with Wasps, in the Anglo-Welsh Cup, and captained the club’s Premiership Shield squad.

The following year, Oghre made his league debut and was a member of the England Under-20s squad.

In the summer of 2019, he joined the Wasps senior squad and came on as a replacement in the 2020 Gallagher Premiership Final against Exeter Chiefs.

During the 2021/22 season, Oghre was included in the England senior men’s training squad ahead of the 2021 Autumn Tests.
