Getting to know me

I started playing rugby when Mo Hunt started working at my high school. When I was 15 she became my form tutor and trying to take responsibility for my negative behaviour, she set me detentions blowing up the school rugby balls. After a few days worth of lunch times I had done them all and she invited me to join in the lunch time club. At the end of my first session she commented on my ability and invited me to begin training at Lichfield U15s. One Thursday evening I came along, met Mo who was training with the ladies that night and gave me some of her kit to begin with. It’s now been 8 years, and I've never left Lichfield. I have played for the U15s, U18s and now the ladies side. While I played for U18s I was selected for county and from there had 2 seasons in the England Midlands side. When I was 18 I was selected to trial for the England U20s.

If you could play alongside any rugby player in the world who would it be?

Mo Hunt - as she suggested. I played for Lichfield and she supported me and encouraged me to play, I would LOVE to play alongside her as when I joined the Lichfield womens' team, the RFU removed Lichfield from the Premiership league and so I’ve never been able to.
