Michael Cheika joined the club as head coach before the 24/25 season having most recently let Argentina to the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

One of World Rugby’s most highly regarded coaches, Cheika has achieved significant success in his 25-year career to date, most notably: A Champions Cup victory with Leinster (2009), a Super Rugby title with the NSW Waratahs (2014) and a Rugby World Cup Final appearance with Australia (2015).

Cheika also guided Argentina to their first win against the All-Blacks in New Zealand in 2022 and a fourth-placed finish at the World Cup.
