Ollie Chessum returned to the club in 2020 from Nottingham Rugby having previously been part of Tigers development programme.
Brought up as a Tigers fan while playing locally with Kesteven RFC, Ollie represented the club in the Premiership Rugby Shield during 2019/20 as a teenager and joined the senior team for the first time during the lockdown period in June 2020.
He made his senior debut in a Gallagher Premiership fixture at Gloucester in August that year and two further appearances before the end of the extended season.
Chessum has gone on to be an integral part of Leicester’s squad, playing in the 2022 Premiership final, making his England debut earlier that year, representing his country at the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Chessum captained Tigers for the first time in opening round of the 2024/25 Premiership season.
