A former Scotland Under-20s prop, Will Hurd joined Leicester Tigers in February 2021 after a short-spell with Glasgow Warriors in their wider training group.
Born in Leicestershire, Hurd played his junior rugby for Ashby RFC and attended Ashby School and Loughborough College before moving enrolling at Cardiff Metropolitan University to undertake a Business Marketing degree.
Qualifying for Scotland through maternal grand-parents, Hurd was selected as a tight head prop in the Scottish Under-20s squad for the 2019 Six Nations and Junior World Championship in Argentina.
