Solomone Kata came off the bench to help Tonga inflict a bruising defeat of Canada in a test match on Thursday, August 10.
In the first of two test matches between the sides, the Ikale Tahi defeated the North American side by 28-3 in the Tongan capital of Nuku'alofa.
Kata started the match on the sidelines but replaced full-back Afusipa Taumoepeau in minute 63 to help his side cruise to victory, despite the team being down to 14 men by this stage, after an early second-half red card.
The powerful centre will be eager to return to the field in Nuku'alofa this Tuesday, August 15, as the two Rugby World Cup Group B opponents face one another once again.
