Jones starts for Red Roses as WXV 1 competition begins

Megan Jones is set to start for the Red Roses in their opening match of the inaugural WXV 1 competition.

England will be taking on Australia at the Sky Stadium in Wellington, on Friday, October 20 (kick-off: 7am UK time) 

The inaugural competition, held in New Zealand, will feature the Black Ferns themselves as well as England, Australia, Canada, France and Wales. 

Following Friday's match, England will take on Canada on Friday, October 27 (kick-off: 7am UK time) before a curtain-closing showdown with New Zealand on Saturday, November 4 (kick-off: 6am UK time).

Having starred in the two warm up games against Canada, Jones will earn her 15th International cap in this game, the Team GB 7s co-captain set to start the match at outside-centre.
