Boris Stankovich disciplinary result

Boris Stankovich has been suspended for three weeks following an RFU disciplinary hearing.

The Leicester Tigers prop was sent off for an alleged dangerous tackle on Darren Allinson in Sunday’s win against London Irish, contrary to Law 10.4 (e) and later cited for allegedly stamping or trampling on Alex Corbisiero in the same match.

Stankovich pleaded guilty to both counts and the offences were considered together in the totality of the suspension.

He is banned from November 21 to December 11 and can play again on December 12.

The case was heard by a panel of His Honour Judge Sean Enright (chair), Antony Davies and John Brennan.
