The market, featuring gifts, crafts and food stalls, plus Santa’s Grotto, carol singers and brass band, will be based on the concourse outside the Caterpillar Stand and will be open throughout the day as Tigers host their French visitors in the pool stages of the Heineken Cup.
Leicester Tigers managing director David Clayton said: “This is a big, eye-catching fixture against one of the top teams in France and, as it falls on the last weekend before Christmas, we want this to be a real family occasion.
“The Christmas market will help give the day a real festive feel, and we hope supporters can come for a look around and perhaps pick up some gifts on their way into the big game.
“The area outside the Caterpillar Stand allows us to stage special events like this and a large Christmas tree lit up at the front of the Caterpillar Stand and the carol singers and brass band will help give a traditional feel to the day.
“We’re sure this will be a popular attraction for all of our supporters.”
