Luan de Bruin will join Edinburgh Rugby at the conclusion of the 2020/21 season.
The South African front rower joined Tigers in the build-up to the current campaign on a short-term deal and has made six appearances for the club.
Speaking about de Bruin, Tigers head coach Steve Borthwick said: “We wish Luan all the best in Edinburgh next season but, for now, look forward to what he will continue to contribute to Leicester Tigers for the remainder of this season.”
“I have no doubts that he will continue to give everything for Tigers, as he has on and off the field since arriving in November.
“He settled in quickly at Leicester Tigers and we have enjoyed having Luan and his wife as members of our club.”
Discussing his time at Tigers, de Bruin said: It has been a wonderful time at Leicester Tigers and I have learned a lot from the older lads and Steve; hard work always gets rewarded.”
