The new Aviva Premiership rugby season is just over a week away and to kick off the action we’re celebrating in style ahead of our opening-day fixture against Bath on September 3 with our Tigers In The Park pre-match party.
This free family event, which takes place on Nelson Mandela Park and the plaza next to the stadium, runs from 11.00am up to the big kick-off at 3.00pm, and promises something for everyone.
Last week, we announced our live entertainment acts and we’ve even more to shout about now.
There will be a host of activities for families and friends to get involved in, including:
- Bouncy castle
- Inflatable giant slide
- Laser tag
- Go-karts
- Inflatable obstacle course
- Trampolines
- Climbing wall
- Petting farm
- Tigers Maul
- Tag rugby taster sessions
- Party games & prizes with club mascot Welford as he leads Welford Road’s 125th Birthday Bash, celebrating a special anniversary at Tigers’ iconic stadium
We’ll also be introducing our new challenge for fans to try, called Fordy’s Kicking Challenge, which tests your kicking accuracy. Check out our time-lapse of the inflatable coming together below.
