Amanda Tilley could not believe her luck after following up a success on the Football Pools by winning a signed Leicester Tigers shirt.
Tigers launched a competition on Twitter to win a signed 2013/14 home shirt after reaching 60,000 followers on the social media network and supporter Amanda was drawn out of the hat as the lucky winner.
And she revealed that it was her second success of the day after earlier sharing in a Pools win with family members.
“When I heard I was off to buy a Lottery ticket because they say things come in threes,” she said. “I was shocked. I still can’t believe I’ve actually won it.”
Amanda lives in Desborough in Northamptonshire but is an ardent Tigers fan of almost 30 years. She came to her first game with her now husband Paul and is a season ticket holder on the Holland & Barrett Terrace.
“The shirt will have pride of place with my other rugby memorabilia,” she said.
