Leicester Tigers fans said a huge thank you to Tom Croft ahead of the Champions Cup game against Munster Rugby.
Croft took to the pitch before kick-off to say an emotional farewell to fans after recently announcing his retirement.
And the academy product received a standing ovation in recognition of his contribution to the club over 173 first-team appearances. Croft also won 40 England caps and played in five Tests on two tours for the British & Irish Lions.
He took to Twitter to express his emotions after the game, and tweeted: “Humbling day for my family and I at @LeicesterTigers today, and exactly why I always aspired to be a 1 club man! Thanks to the supporters and club for making Tigers a very special place for me ! Cheers”
