Leicester Tigers and world record all-time points scorer Dusty Hare will be joining Tigers chief executive Simon Cohen and head of rugby operations Ged Glynn at the club’s Open Forum on Sept 4.
Due to popular interest from fans, the evening will also be hosted in the club’s 1880 suite rather than the Clubhouse to accommodate the expected numbers.
Dusty is now a scout at Leicester Tigers following a career that saw him make almost 400 appearances in the red, white and green between 1976–89 accumulating a club-record 4,507 points.
As one of the games' most talented kickers, Hare is heavily involved in the Tigers scouting pathway integrating the clubs developing players programme (DPP), achieving academic and sporting excellence (AASE) and academy squad.
The Open Forum is free and open to all supporters to attend. Doors open from 6.30pm with the forum to begin at 7.00pm. Parking will be available in the Crumbie Car Park and the bar will be open for refreshments.
The panel will lead a discussion on the topics of recruitment and building the squad for the new campaign.
Register your interest by filling in the form below. Details of the club’s second Open Supporters Forum will be announced towards the end of 2018.
