Leicester Tigers wing Will Hurrell says England can improve after maintaining their 100 per cent start to the RBS Under-20s Six Nations with a 16-10 victory over Italy.
Hurrell was joined by Tigers teammate Sam Harrison in the win in San Dona di Piave, which made it two wins from two for England.
England scored an early try through Gloucester wing Jonny May with his Kingsholm teammate Freddie Burns adding the conversion and a second half penalty .
Hurrell said: “We scored in the first few minutes and then maybe took our foot off the gas. It’s a hard lesson for us.
“Italy were really good at keeping in there, kicked fairly well, but I think we can play better than that.
“A win is a win and if it was a Guinness Premiership game you'd say it was a poor performance but the win was a positive thing. Now we need to up it in training and get better for the next game.”
