Following on from Leicester Tigers first home win in Premiership Women's Rugby, the side must navigate a tricky away trip to the StoneX Stadium.
Saracens, the most successful team in the history of the women's top flight, will pose a tough test for Tigers but it's one the side must 'relish' to be successful.
"Saracens are a strong side but iron sharpens iron. The development I have seen from this team, from these players, over the last 18 months or so has come because we have relished these challenges and put in the work necessary to compete." said head coach Tom Hudson.
In anticipation of the congested schedule, head coach Tom Hudson has made ten changes to the starting XV that beat Sale Sharks last week to record a maiden Premiership home win.
It's an all-new front and back row, with Welsh prop Abbey Constable set for her first start and USA international Tahlia Brody returning from suspension.
In the backs, Jenny Maxwell starts at scrum half with a rejigged midfield as Katie Childs shifts back to a more familiar centre berth from the back row, whilst Emily Henrich moves inward from the wing for the first time since the pre-season PWR Up series.
Finally, there is an all-new back three of Amelia Tutt, who returns from injury, alongside Tess Feury and Amanda Swartz.
Amongst the replacements new signing Clodagh Dunne is in line for her Leicester Tigers debut.
Speaking ahead of the game, the Head Coach said: "Ultimately, this is a side with a lot of experience and a real opportunity against a highly competitive team.
"We'll see a few players, who have been fighting tooth and nail in training, given a valuable opportunity to stake a claim for a shirt. The likes of Amelia Tutt are just returning from injury while someone like Emily Henrich, who plays outside centre for the USA but out wide for us, has an opportunity to demonstrate her skillset in a different position.
"Each week we see the competition for places in this squad get higher and higher."
Saracens, meanwhile, make six changes from their last outing, including the returns of Red Rose Poppy Cleall, Canadian Olympic 7s star Fancy Bermudez and the USA's Lotte Sharp.
Although a big focus was placed on Leicester's opportunity to run back the frequent long kicks of the Sharks, the side won't have that opportunity this week. Saracens don't kick as much as Sale do but when they do they will often make it count - fly half Zoe Harrison has made more kicks that have been retained than any other player this season (11).
Equally, when taking the ball into contact, the visitors would be wise to avoid May Campbell - the hooker / back row made four turnovers last weekend whilst for the season she is ten ahead of any other player (21).
Leicester's success will likely revolve around making the most of set pieces, a key battleground thus far. Tigers have the best scrum success rate in the league (94.9%), whilst their seven tries are the most any team has scored from scrums.
This match will see two Tigers become the first women in history to reach the milestone of a half-century of appearances for the club.
Morgan Richardson named at flanker, will become the first and then joined by Amy Relf, who will also reach 50 appearances should she feature from the bench.
"It is an unbelievable achievement for both of them" Hudson added.
"Both stand as a testament to the value of hard work, both have been instrumental to the successes our team have enjoyed since it's formation and both continue to be vital members of our group.
"To see the development they have made over the two years I have been involved, it's like night and day.
"Congratulations to both Morgan and Amy, they thoroughly deserve their place in the history books."
The women's side are back in action at home on Saturday, January 25, for a Derby Day clash with Loughborough Lightning.
