Leicester Tigers U18 claimed their second successive victory to start this year's Academy League, Tigers edging out Newcastle Falcons at Leicester Forest RFC.
Number eight George Marsh's try gave Tigers the lead in the 10th minute, with Oscar Talbot continuing his good form from the tee.
Falcons however would take a 12-7 lead into the break after late first half flurry.
Oliver Shipp's try got Tigers level before James Alcock came up with the winning score. Talbot converted to make it 17-12 and that's how it would remain at the final whistle.
