Leicester Tigers will host Exeter Chiefs in the Premiership Rugby Cup in the first home game of 2019/20, following a trip to Worcester in Round 1.
As with the full Gallagher Premiership fixtures released last week, Tigers kick off their campaign away to Worcester Warriors, with the Cup fixture at Sixways on Saturday, September 21 (3.00pm).
Exeter Chiefs will then serve as the opposition for the first Welford Road matchday of the season, on Friday, September 27 (7.45pm).
Round 3 sees Tigers travel to The Rec to play Bath Rugby on Saturday, October 5 (3.00pm) before a home game against Northampton Saints – the Premiership Rugby Cup winners last season – on Saturday, October 12 (3.00pm) in the ‘Derby Day’ round of fixtures.
With all 12 Gallagher Premiership teams taking part in the competition, four sides will progress to the semi-finals to be held during the Six Nations period in February, with the final scheduled for Saturday, March 14.
Details of Tigers’ pool fixtures against Cardiff Blues, Pau and Calvisano in the European Challenge Cup will be released next month.
