Tigers Team of the Decade [2010-19]

Leicester Tigers supporters have seen some of the game's greatest and most entertaining players represent the club during the past decade, including internationals from across the globe and home grown stars who have taken the green, red and white of Leicester from the East Midlands to the biggest stages of the rugby world.

So, as the clock ticks down towards the end of the 2010s, LeicesterTigers.com - with the help of the club's official statistician Stuart Farmer, has compiled a team to be envied by any club or international team in the world of rugby.

The team was selected on the basis of which Tigers player - past or present - who made the most appearances in the shirt number during the decade, including all competition and exhibition fixtures.

The side includes seventeen (17) members, with the left wing (No.11) and second-row (No.4) shirts seeing two players share the honours after an equal amount of appearances.

Six (6) Tigers Academy graduates are included in the list and thirteen (13) internationals make the list, from four different nations.

The team also includes current squad members Adam Thompstone, Manu Tuilagi, Ben and Tom Youngs and Dan Cole.

Current club captain Tom Youngs, who is included at hooker after notching up 138 games during the past ten years, is the club's most experienced skipper during the decade with seventy-one (73) appearances as captain from 2010-19.
