Tigers thank departing partner Holland & Barrett

Following Tigers final Gallagher Premiership fixture of the 2019/20 campaign, the club would also like to take the opportunity to thank departing main partner Holland & Barrett.

A partnership that began back in September 2010, the leading sports nutrition and supplements retailer have been a constant over the last decade.

They first announced their support with a three-year deal which included naming rights to Welford Road’s South Stand (now The Breedon Stand) unveiled during the 2010/11 season.

As well as providing nutrition and health products to the first team, the company became Leicester Tigers main partner in July 2016 which saw their brand front and center of the home and alternate kits.

Holland & Barrett were also the first to sponsor the new 10,000-seat North Stand, which at the time was the second-largest single-tier stand in the country, and receives prime television coverage around the world.

Former chief-executive of Holland & Barrett Peter Aldis was also joined the Tigers Board as a non-executive director from 2016, leaving his position with the club in February 2020.

Tigers chief executive officer Andrea Pinchen wrote in her final programme notes of the season: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank our main partners Holland & Barrett who will feature on the famous green, white and red jersey for the last time today.

“The company’s support since joining the #TigersFamily in 2010 has been a mainstay for the club and they will always be welcome back at Welford Road.”

Britain’s biggest tile specialist Topps Tiles will become the club’s new main sponsor, revealed earlier this year with the launch of two new playing kits for the 2020/21 season.
