Tigers season ticket holders Paul and Sue Adkins couldn’t believe it when it was announced that they had won a once in a lifetime trip to New York thanks to TigersLotto.
The couple won a three-night stay in New York on the TigersLotto Mega Draw, courtesy of club partner Thomas Cook Sport, and were presented as winners during half-time when Tigers beat Sale Sharks at Welford Road earlier this season.
The prize also included £500 spending money and tickets to visit the top of the Empire State Building, courtesy of Attraction World.
Paul, who sits in the Holland & Barrett stand, said: “My wife Sue & I had a fantastic time and the Hotel Barclay was exceptional and a great choice.
“We managed to fit lots in during our stay, we covered around 40 miles on foot over the three days, so burnt off the calories we put on with the generous US-style food portions we ate!
“We visited a whole host of places - the Empire State Building, Times Square and Central Park Zoo to name a few - so thanks again to the club for such a wonderful prize and the memories it has created.
It was made all the better with a win while we were away too!”
