Tuilagi set for Six Nations red card hearing

Manu Tuilagi will face a Six Nations disciplinary hearing on Thursday following his red card in England’s win over Wales.

The centre was red-carded for an infringement of Law 9.16 (A player must not charge or knock down an opponent carrying the ball without attempting to grasp that player). The hearing takes place in Dublin.

Leicester Tigers colleague Freddie Steward faces a separate hearing in London after being cited for an alleged infringement of Law 9.11 (Players must not do anything that is reckless or dangerous to others) and / or Law 9.17 (A player must not tackle, charge, pull, push or grasp an opponent whose feet are off the ground) during the Under-20s fixture between England and Wales last Friday.

England forwards Joe Marler and Courtney Lawes also face a hearing in Dublin on Thursday.
