Tuilagi finished the Aviva Premiership regular season as the leading try scorer with 12 and added another try to help Tigers to victory over Northampton in Saturday’s semi-final at Welford Road.
His hat-trick try in the 41-41 draw with Gloucester Rugby at Welford Road last month has been nominated for the RPA Sunday Times award, which is voted for by the public.
The Samoa international wing collected Scott Hamilton’s over the shoulder inside pass to finish off a flowing move in the left corner in front of the Goldsmiths Stand.

He faces competition from Harlequins’ Ugo Monye for his try against Gloucester on March 26, Saracens hooker Schalk Brits for his effort against Gloucester on April 24.
Gloucester fly-half Nicky Robinson also appears on the shortlist for his try against Bath at the Recreation Ground on October 1 as does Bath scrum-half Michael Claassens for his try against Exeter Chiefs at The Rec on April 9.
The shortlist is completed by Exeter’s Sireli Naqelevuki for his try against Northampton Saints at Sandy Park on March 6.

It will be announced at the annual RPA Computacenter Awards Dinner, which will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Wednesday May 25, starting at 6.30pm.
Thomas Waldrom is nominated for the Computacentre Players’ Player of the Year, at the sae awards dinner. His team-mate Manu Tuilagi is on a six-man shortlist for the Norman Broadbent Young Player of the Year.
