Leicester Tigers wheelchair rugby star Gavin Walker MBE reached 100 Caps for the club last weekend.
The Paralympic Gold Medalist achieved the feat on Saturday, January 28 as the team competed in the second round of the 2024 Fours Premiership competition.
A three-time European gold medalist, Walker has been a stalwart for Leicester Tigers for a number of years and a was a key figure in last year's historic treble triumph, that saw the team triumph in Fours, Fives and European competition.
Awarded the Freedom of the Borough of Rotherham, his work with the Spinal Injuries Association SIA has helped offer support to people with similar injuries.
Asked about Walker reaching a century, Leicester Tigers coach Darren Matthews said: "A huge congratulations to Gavin on his 100th cap, a huge milestone.
"Gavin has been very influential since joining the team. An excellent player on court but more importantly is his willingness to help others in training sessions.
"He’s been a huge inspiration and a mentor to many players. I look forward to working with and coaching Gavin to his 200th cap!"
The feat was achieved in Tigers second round of the 2024 Fours Premiership.
The side currently sit second in the table and triumphed in three of the four matches last weekend, including a buzzer beating, extra time victory over North East Bulls.
Their only loss came in a tight game with league leaders West Coast Crash, the team missing last year's MVP Sebastian Verdin.
