Leicester Tigers have signed Clodagh Dunne on a short-term deal.

The tighthead prop joins after stints with Leinster and Old Belvedere and has previously featured in the All-Ireland League and the Women's Interprovincial Championship. Dunne has also represented Ireland internationally in rugby league.

On adding Dunne to his squad, Head Coach Tom Hudson said: "Clodagh brings us depth in a key area. We are pleased to have her join us here at Leicester Tigers.

"As someone who has experience in both codes, Clodagh also offers unique experience and we are confident she will adapt quickly to the demands of Premiership Women's Rugby."

Speaking about joining the club, Dunne added: "I am thrilled to have joined Leicester Tigers for the remainder of the season. It's a great group with lots of talent and receiving such a warm welcome has made settling in very easy."
