Following hot on the heels of our profile of two Karens, Sherry and Amanda on the Breedon Terrace, we’re highlighting another pair of Leicester Tigers season ticket holders.

Meet husband and wife Pankaj and Mala from Melton Mowbray, who have been season ticket holders for six years.

Mala says: “We’ve always supported Tigers but we moved to the south east for a few years so couldn’t always make the games.

“Luckily, we moved back to Leicester and we were very proud to get our hands on season tickets back in 2012.

“We moved seats [in 2017/18] during the ‘Movers and Shakers’ period to the South Stand and love our new view.”

As with groups of season ticket holders across the ground, Pankaj and Mala have forged new friendships with fellow Tigers supporters who sit close by.

“It’s great because there are eight of our friends and family who all moved to these seats and we’ve made even more friends in our new spot,” Pankaj adds.

“We drive in from Melton Mowbray and you can feel the excitement build as we get nearer to the stadium. Welford Road is a special place.”
