Leicester Tigers will open the new Aviva Premiership season with an away game against London Irish on Sunday, October 18.The fixtures for the 2015/16 campaign were released today and have thrown up a trip to the Madejski Stadium in Round 1.   Tigers welcome Harlequins to Welford Road in Round 2 for the first home game of the campaign on the weekend of October 24 before Wasps visit in Round 3 on the weekend of October 31.   Tigers will be away from home on the last day of the regular season, in a clash with Bath Rugby at The Rec in Round 22 on the weekend of May 7. Tigers finish their home campaign in Round 21 against Worcester Warriors on the weekend of April 30.   Newcastle Falcons are the visitors to Welford Road for the Christmas fixture while Tigers travel to defending Aviva Premiership champions Saracens for the opening game of 2016 on Saturday, January 2. The reverse fixture sees Sarries visit Welford Road on the weekend of March 19.   Tigers welcome Northampton Saints for an East Midlands derby in Round 9 on the weekend of January 9, and visit Franklin’s Gardens in Round 20 on the weekend of April 16.   The Aviva Premiership fixtures were revealed at BT Tower today. Home fixtures in the Kings of the North are against Newcastle Falcons on Saturday, September 19 - also featuring Tigers in the Park activities for visitors - and against Sale Sharks on Saturday, October 10. Both fixtures kick off at 3pm at Welford Road.
