Incoming Leicester Tigers scrum coach Dan Palmer has been confirmed to travel to France with the Wallabies squad that will compete in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Palmer will serve as Australia's line-out coach at the upcoming tournament, a role he's held since he was appointed by Head Coach Eddie Jones in May of 2023.

The former prop will arrive in Leicester and begin work with the squad following the 2023 Rugby World Cup, after being appointed to a short-term role prior to his appointment at Tigers.

The 34-year-old is regarded as one of the finest set-piece specialists in the game today; having first taken up a role with the Brumbies in 2015, where he worked under new Tigers Head Coach Dan McKellar, Palmer initially joined the club as a Scrum Consultant before working as the club's Scrum Coach for the last three seasons.
