Ollie Chessum was named Player of the Match for England following their 47-24 win over Italy on Sunday afternoon.
England scored three first-half tries to Italy's two, as well as a penalty goal to Paolo Garbisi, to lead 21-17 at half time before adding four more scores in the second half to secure the 23-point win.
The Leicester Tigers lock and captain Maro Itoje were the only forwards to feature for the full 80 minutes at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham, and carried on eight occasions in the match while also winning a game-high eleven lineouts for the home side.
Clubmates Joe Heyes (60th minute) and Jack van Poortvliet (64th minute) were injected into the game in the final quarter to help England wrap up the match and finish the penultimate round in second place, one competition point behind France heading into next weekend's fixtures.
On Saturday, Tigers teammates Nicky Smith and Tommy Reffell started for Wales in the clash with Scotland, featuring clubmate Will Hurd, in Edinburgh.
A dominant first half from the hosts saw them lead by twenty points, 28-8, at the break, before a brave fightback from the Welsh meant it finished 35-29 in the home side's favour. Hurd was a second-half replacement, in the 61st minute, for the hosts.
Scotland heads to France and England travel to Cardiff to take on Wales in the final round of this year's tournament, next weekend, and Italy host Ireland, with the French in top spot (16 points), England in second with 15 points, the Irish in third (14 points) and Scotland in fourth with eleven points.
