Leicester Tigers can confirm that Mark Bakewell has left his role as forwards coach.
Bakewell joined the Tigers staff led by then-head coach Matt O’Connor in February 2018 after a spell with Bristol Rugby and subsequently worked with the backroom team headed by Geordan Murphy.
Tigers head coach Murphy said: “We’d like to thank Mark for his hard work at the club over the last couple of seasons and we wish him well for the future.”
Following Bakewell’s departure, coaching of the forwards will be led by Boris Stankovich and Brett Deacon, working alongside Murphy, Mike Ford and Phil Blake in the coaching team.
