Next time you're at Mattioli Woods Welford Road, make sure to return your reusable cups.

This simple act not only creates a more sustainable matchday but also helps the Leicester Tigers Foundation in achieving key goals in their invaluable work across our region. 

First introduced in 2022, 10p from each returned cup is donated to the charity. The scheme has raised increasing amounts each year, with the 2024/25 season set to be the highest total yet.

In 2022/23, it's first year in operation, £12,442 was accrued, while last season saw £13,421 raised by Tigers fans. This season, the current count sits at £8,313 for a running total of £36,176 over the last two and a half years.

These donations are invaluable to the far-reaching work of the Leicester Tigers Foundation, with the funds collected having helped to power the successes of the Leicester Tigers Wheelchair Rugby team and Down syndrome rugby programmes.

Look out for the Reusable Cup Drop Bins located throughout Mattioli Woods Welford Road and do your part to help the local community.
