Five Leicester Tigers players will run out in England colours on their club ground at Mattioli Woods Welford Road on Sunday.
The 28-cap prop Ellis Genge is vice-captain of England A for the game against Scotland A at the start of the summer series home of the Leicester Tigers, with uncapped colleagues Harry Wells, Joe Heyes, Dan Kelly and Freddie Steward also in the starting XV.
Heyes joins Genge in the front row with Wells at lock alongside Bath’s Charlie Ewels, while Kelly joins Ollie Lawrence at centre and Steward starts at full-back.
Gloucester back-rower Lewis Ludlow will captain the side, with John Mitchell in the role as head coach.
Mitchell said: “This squad has grown over the past few weeks, full of energy and competition and the players have given their all. Now the next step is for us to work even harder at becoming more cohesive in our final stages of our preparation.”
Sam Underhill (concussion) and Fraser Dingwall (calf) are unavailable for selection after picking up injuries in training.
A limited number of tickets remain on sale via Tigers. Book online or phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2).
