First-time visitor Marta Zielonka had an afternoon to remember at Welford Road on Saturday as Leicester Tigers hosted a capacity 24,000 crowd for the final home game of the season.A 22-14 victory over Northampton Saints secured a semi-final spot for Tigers, reaching the knockout stages of the season for an 11th successive season.   And for Marta, there was even more excitement as she was chosen as our First Matchday winner.   Marta, from London, travelled to the game with boyfriend Baz Liddle, a Tigers fan, and they were invited on to the pitch at half-time to accept a goodie bag from Tigers star Laurence Pearce as our first-time visitor winner.   “It’s been a great experience,” she said. “It’s a lovely stadium and an amazing surprise to win. I’ve really enjoyed my day.”   My First Matchday aims to give first-time visitors to the home of Tigers a memorable experience, with supporters signing up online or on a matchday with a Games Keeper at the stadium with the chance to win a bag of Tigers goodies. All first-time visitors can also pick up a My First Matchday certificate signed by club captain Ed Slater.
