Sam Harrison is the first winner of the Goldsmiths Player of the Month for the 2015/16 season.Scrum-half Harrison won the supporters’ vote ahead of Leicester Tigers teammates Peter Betham and Mike Fitzgerald.   Harrison, who has been in fine form during pre-season, providing a consistent threat in attack and a terrier-like work-rate in defence, was announced as the winner at half-time of Saturday’s Kings of the North finale against Sale Sharks at Welford Road.   The Tigers Player of the Month award is supported by Goldsmiths, the largest prestige and luxury jewellers in the UK, who are also official East Stand sponsors and official timekeepers.
