The Summer international season has begun with England getting off to a good start with a dominant victory over Japan.
Tigers’ forwards Dan Cole and George Martin started in the 52-17 win in Tokyo, with fullback Freddie Steward and prop Joe Heyes also part of the travelling group.
Cole got through 56 minutes of work, making 7 tackles while Martin played the full-eighty, chipping in 13 tackles.
Elsewhere, Tigers hooker Julián Montoya has been named in Felipe Contepomi’s first Argentina’s squad with Los Pumas facing upcoming tests against France and Uruguay.
