There is an opportunity for a rugby club to welcome the Leicester Tigers to the field as official flag wavers at the next home game on September 16 against Gloucester Rugby.

For the season’s opening fixture against Bath last Sunday, the juniors from Lincoln Rugby Club were able to share the experience as the teams ran out in front of more than 22,000 supporters.

"The Lincoln team were really excited to be part of the welcoming party to greet the Tigers for their first game of the new season,” said Louise, a mother of one of the Lincoln squad.

“It was a real privilege to share the pitch with the players – even for a brief moment.”
