Welcome the defending Premiership champions back to Welford Road for a first-ever league clash with newly-promoted Exeter Chiefs on Saturday (kick-off 5.30pm) in the opening home game of the season.
Tigers won 17 out of 18 fixtures on home soil last season, set a league record with average crowds topping 22,000 and won their ninth league title with victory in breathtaking fashion at the Premiership Final at Twickenham.
Now Richard Cockerill and the players are ready to go again. Big-name players like Geordan Murphy, Toby Flood, Tom Croft, Ben Youngs and Martin Castrogiovanni are looking forward to the new season, and Tigers have added a number of new signings, including forwards Thomas Waldrom and George Skivington, and wingers Horacio Agulla and Lee Robinson. They will all be contesting places to run out at Northampton this weekend and then the homecoming against Exeter Chiefs.
