Jones crowned inaugural PRW Player of the Year

Leicester Tigers Women’s centre Meg Jones has been named the first ever Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby Player of the Year.

Jones, currently with Team GB ahead of her second Olympic games, scored 69 points during the season, including a handful of memorable tries at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.

The Red Roses international also started in four of five Guinness Women’s Six Nations fixtures this season, scoring three tries in England’s Grand-Slam campaign.
