Leicester Tigers have announced six Senior Academy players will step up to the club’s first team squad ahead of the 2024/25 season.

The group includes prop Tim Hoyt, hooker Archie Vanes, lock Tom Manz, back-rows Finn Carnduff and Emeka Ilione and centre Joseph Woodward.

All six have already made their senior debuts for the club and have represented England at age grade level.

Leicester Tigers general manager, Richard Wilks said: “We’re delighted to see this group make their next steps in their careers at Tigers.”

“For most, they have spent the majority of this season in our senior programme and not much will change, but for us as a club it’s tremendously rewarding to the see the progression of our academy players.

“It’s a credit to them, but also to our staff that work tirelessly in the background, and our partner clubs who have given them much needed game time to prepare them for the step up so they can hit the ground running on July 1 when preseason begins.”
