The reigning 2018 Miss England, Alisha Cowie, made a special visit to Welford Road as part of the Miss England Midlands semi-finals taking place at the stadium on May 31.
Nineteen-year-old Alisha, from Newcastle, enjoyed a lifestyle photoshoot accompanied by club mascot Welford out on the famous pitch.
Alisha showed off a new haircut after having 11 inches cut off the length for the Papyrus Suicide Prevention charity and donating her hair to the Little Princess Trust, a charity which helps make wigs for Children with Cancer.
The upcoming event is the only competition which sends the winner to Miss World representing England, which raises millions of pounds for charities across the world.
Women aged between 16-26 years old from Leicestershire and across the Midlands regions are being invited to participate.

The Miss England Midlands contest will feature an ethical fashion show, where contestants will model their own creations from recycled materials.
Part of the contest is a fundraising element which is supporting two Leicester-based cancer charities - The Children’s Cancer & Leukaemia Group & Hope Against Cancer – who both who have facilities at Leicester Royal Infirmary.
