Tigers Community team are pleased to announce a new addition to their coaching team. Joe Hill, a Leicester lad, played in the Tigers academy for 3 seasons at fly half. With a degree in Sport Management he joins the community team as a Rugby Development Officer (RDO).
His new role will involve him coaching and running a whole range of community programmes and working with schools and rugby clubs all over the region. Joe has already experienced life in the community team during his time working on the Tigers summer rugby courses. He has also been coaching in Oakham and Rutland as part of the Alliance & Leicester TAG programme.

Joe will be taking over from Steven Glitherow, the Tigers Healthy Schools Officer who will be leaving Tigers in November to travel around the world. Steve has worked for Tigers for several years working his way up from ball boy, to ticket office and shop staff, and first team player before joining the community team in 2004. In his role as THEO he has visited schools all over Leicester teaching children about the importance of healthy living.
