Leicester Tigers’ replica kits have proved an instant hit with strong sales in the pre-season period.
Manufactured by club kit supplier Samurai, Tigers launched the 2022/23 home kit and red change strip last month and combined sales figures for the summer are well ahead of last year’s range.
The kit designs have been inspired by the volume of support for the club up and down the country, featuring a sound wave pattern to represent the theme that ‘Everywhere we go, We take you with us’.
The home kit will be seen at Mattioli Woods Welford Road for the first time this evening (Friday) when Tigers host Newcastle Falcons in a pre-season fixture and the Club Shop units will be open throughout the day.
Chris Rose, Tigers’ Chief Marketing and Operations Officer, said: “We’re delighted that the kits have already proved popular with supporters and that is even before they’ve had a chance to see the team run out in them for a league game.
“Sales have been so strong for the home shirt in particular that there is limited stock in some sizes in the Club Shop and online, but we are due another delivery from club partners Samurai soon and we look forward to seeing more and more supporters wearing their colours throughout the year.”
