Tom Hudson has added nine players to his squad ahead of the club's second season in Premiership Women's Rugby.

In just the second year as part of the English game's top tier, the club's women's programme has added a balance of experience and potential, with both domestic and international talent joining the club.

These include Scottish scrum-half Jenny Maxwell, who has made over thirty appearances for her country. Leicestershire-born Maxwell joins the club after seven years at Loughborough Lightning, having been at the club since their formation in 2017.

From the East Midlands to the East Coast of the USA, versatile back Emily Henrich is equally adept in the centres or across the back three, the 24-year-old having made 16 appearances for the Eagles.

Leicester Tigers women’s Head Coach, Tom Hudson, said: “We are delighted to welcome nine exciting additions to our squad ahead of the new season.

“All of them bring vital qualities to the group, with several adding vital big game experience as we look to continue building our reputation in the PWR.

“They have fitted in right away with the environment we have created here while the new additions have demonstrated in training exactly what they will bring to Leicester Tigers, whether it be incredible athleticism, exceptional skills or vital game management.

“We can’t wait to get them running out at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in front of the Tigers supporters”.

These nine signings have joined up with the wider Leicester Tigers women’s squad  for pre-season ahead of 2024/25.
