The fourth edition of The Slater Cup will take place on Friday, March 22 (7.45pm) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
Named in honour of former Leicester Tigers and Gloucester Rugby lock Ed Slater and created to support Ed and his fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND), The Slater Cup's inaugural fixture was held on Christmas Eve 2022 at Mattioli Woods Welford Road.
The trophy is battled over in each meeting between the long-time rivals, who have met on 233 occasions, and since its introduction has been won on all three occasions by Tigers.
In the last encounter between the clubs, in November, Leicester came away from Kingsholm with an 18-point, 38-20, victory over Gloucester - a seventh successive win over the Cherry and Whites, dating back to August 2020.

In support of The 4Ed Fund, helping to raise funds for the fight against MND and Ed's battle with the disease, supporters can also select to make a donation when purchasing match tickets for The Slater Cup fixture.
The option to donate will be presented to purchasers through the buying process online or can be made over the phone when purchasing with a member of the Ticket Office Team.
Season Ticket Holders not purchasing additional tickets during the Early Bird Window can donate by contacting the Ticket Office over the phone, on 0116 319 8888 (option 2), during the club's customer service hours of 10.00am - 4.00pm, Monday - Friday.
More information on fundraising efforts for The 4Ed Fund to take place on matchday will be announced in the coming weeks.
JTC TAKEOVER DAY
The club's annual JTC Takeover Day will take place on Saturday, April 27 (3.00pm) at Mattioli Woods Welford Road when Leicester Tigers face Bristol Bears in Round 16 of the 23/24 Gallagher Premiership.
A day dedicated to the future of the Tigers Family, which has become a favourite among supporters each year, JTC Takeover Day will see members of the Junior Tigers Club (JTC) take on key roles throughout the matchday at Tigers HQ - including Ground Announcer, Grounds Team Member, Junior LTTV Reporter, Kit Manager as well as many more, including some new additions this season.
