International Round-Up | Bittersweet end for Tigers

It was mixed emotions for the Leicester Tigers players who featured in the final round of this season's Guinness Six Nations.

While Ollie Chessum, Joe Heyes, and Jack van Poortvliet celebrated a record-breaking victory in Cardiff, their clubmates Nicky Smith and Tommy Reffell felt the brunt of the dominant English display.

Heyes and JVP came off the bench to help England finish 54 points ahead of Wales, 68-14, which included a first-ever Test try for the tight head prop.

England scored ten tries to the home side's two, which included five first half-scores, to lead 33-7 at the break. Chessum, who started in the second row, was removed from the game early in the first half through injury.

Later on Saturday, Will Hurd was on the bench for Scotland, who went down 35-16 to France to see Les Bleus finish as this season's Championship winners.
